EMPLOYMENT

At Toongabbie Christian College, our staff are committed educators as well as active Christians. They inspire a learning culture where students feel safe and happy to express their faith and pursue academic and personal excellence. The College invites like-minded, Christian educators to apply to join its team.

The College seeks to appoint educators who will:

  • Maintain a commitment to a faithful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Demonstrate ongoing commitment to the College’s Vision and Purpose Statements
  • Commit to a growing understanding of the place of education, teaching and learning from a Biblical Worldview
  • Set an example to students, staff and parents/carers in matters of faith and conduct

Relocation costs are available for successful applicants outside of the Sydney metropolitan area and for interstate appointments.

Practicum Applications

The College welcomes enquiries from trainee teachers regarding Practicum placements.  Both teachers and students benefit from Practicum students. Practicum students will receive a high level of support throughout their placement to allow them to experience the benefits of working in a Christian Community. Enquiries should be made to the College Office (reception@tcc.nsw.edu.au) and addressed to the Executive Assistant Primary/Secondary.

Candidates must be attending church regularly and will be required to provide the name of their Pastor and the Church they attend. Before the commencement of their placement applicants are required to:

  • Complete an application form
  • Provide a current WWCC
  • Provide the necessary documentation from their tertiary institution
  • Attend an interview and complete Compliance training

Candidates must express interest at least 8 weeks before the intended start date. The application form will be provided once an expression of interest has been received and the College has the capacity to accept a Practicum student and the applicant satisfies the requirements of the College.
